eu commission launches public consultation on Paint Microplastic emissions

Pinovo applauds 🙌 the EU Commission decision to launch a public consultation in the lead up to potential policy actions to reduce Microplastic Emissions from six major sources, including PAINT🎨.  

Paint is the biggest source of Ocean 🌊Microplastic Leakage....by far, according to recently published scientific research from EA - Environmental Action.

Now, with the recognition that Plastic Pollution includes Microplastics in Nairobi at UNEA 5.2 👍 , it is time for
- Regulators to take action, 
- Paint Industry to educate their customers on the risks of mismanaged paint, and 
- Industrial 🏭 and Marine 🚢 sectors to adopt clean, sustainable solutions for surface maintenance, such as Pinovo's clean blasting.
